Erin graduated from National Louis University where she earned her Masters of Science in Community Counseling and received her undergraduate degree from The University of Iowa. Erin is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor. Her professional experience includes working in a inpatient psychiatric behavioral health hospital and outpatient settings, community mental health services and private practice. Erin’s clients include working with children, adolescents, adults, individuals, families and groups. Erin is also passionate about helping families advocate their children’s academic needs while working in partnership with the schools. In addition, Erin gained a wealth of knowledge working with individuals struggling with addiction and recovery. She received the Illinois Alcohol and Other Drug Abuse Professional Certification (CADC). Erin utilizes a variety of techniques and skills drawn from recognized therapeutic modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focused, DBT, Psychoeducation, behavior modification and mindfulness and relaxation. Erin’s primary goal is to work in partnership with clients, utilizing their strengths to help them with their challenges and to help them achieve their goals while providing a safe and supportive environment.
